BIPV stands for Building-Integrated Photovoltaics. It refers to the integration of solar photovoltaic (PV) panels into the design and structure of buildings, allowing them to generate electricity as part of their overall function. BIPV systems replace conventional building materials, such as windows, roofs, or facades, with solar panels that can harness solar energy and convert it into electricity.

When traditional solar products are combined with buildings, the area where panels can be installed is too limited (for example, the roof), because the traditional solar products have serious limitation on the angle of light exposure, resulting the building external facade cannot be used to generating power.
